Announcing SWAG #17 at EXETER
The South West Amiga Group has been meeting at the Parish Hall in Chipping Sodbury for a number of years, and while attendance continues to grow, we are well aware that there are Amiga users based in Devon and Cornwall where the location means it’s simply too far for them to travel.
After much planning by the SWAG Team we are pleased to announce that our first Exeter based meet is booked for Saturday the 25th of May!
The venue for this latest SWAG event is the Clyst St Mary Village Hall, Clyst St Mary, Exeter, EX5 1AA. The Hall is just a short drive off from junction 30 of the M5 and has masses of on-site parking.
At this initial Exeter meet we won’t be providing a buffet lunch as we want to see what sort of take-up we get from Amiga users. We will be providing drinks and snacks, however. We have been informed that there is a local convenience store with a hot food counter, but you may want to consider bringing your own lunch on this occasion.
Tickets are priced at £10 and will go on sale approximately one month before the date of the event. If this location proves popular the Exeter meet may become a permanent fixture in the SWAG calendar. Should that happen, we will look into supplying food at a subsequent Exeter event.

For those of you waiting for the next SWAG meet in Chipping Sodbury, this is booked for Saturday 12th of October. We have a raffle planned for this event with prizes including an Amiga 500 and two GVP A500 external drives that have been kindly donated to help raise SWAG funds.
